Jigsaw Learning Method is one of an effective method as the method to increase student learning material comprehension optimally. Because the Jigsaw Learning Method can optimize ability of reading, writing, listening or speaking and also increasing the comprehension of interpersonal behavior, so it makes easy for student to ascertain some knowledge and adaptation at the environment. This research is aimed to know: (a) comprehension level for counseling guidance at SMA N I Papar Kediri before treatment, (b) ) comprehension level for counseling guidance at SMA N I Papar Kediri after treatment of using jigsaw learning method, (c) jigsaw learning method effect for counseling guidance subject at SMA N I Papar Kediri.
This research is using experimental method by nonrandomized pretest- posttest control group design). This research used 60 respondents, 30 students in class X4 as control group and 30 students in class X7 as an experimental group at SMA N I Papar Kediri. The research instrument is using Student Work Sheet as called LKS, consists of 10 questions by multiple option answers as primary data and interview, observation, questionnaire, documentation as secondary data (complement). The data analysis was using SPSS 15 for windows by paired sample test and independent sample t-test.

The result research showed that (a) subject comprehension level of counseling guidance during pretest and posttest is on middle category (see Table 4.8); b) There is an increasing comprehension value for good counseling guidance subject on experimental group, although it is constantly in middle category. This is indicated by mean changing of pretest 7.87 and posttest 8.97 and test result of SPSS tcount as much -6,056 with significant 2-tailed as much = 0,000 is less than tcount critic value 0,05 and 0.025 (0,000 < 0,05 < 0,05/0,025). It is meant that Ho to be rejected, (c) Jigsaw learning method is effecting toward counseling guidance subject comprehension. This was showed by result of SPSS test between posttest value for an experimental group and the control group were obtained tcount = 3.315, sig. 2-tailed = 0,002 on significant level as 0,05 and 0.025 which was meant that (0.002 < 0.005/0.025) and dk 56, then Ho is rejected. It is meant that two variables were having effect. Thus, jigsaw learning method is effected toward counseling guidance comprehension at SMA N I Papar Kediri.
