Abstract

INDONESIA:

Dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, manusia tentunya membutuhkan bahan materi agar bisa tetap survive dalam menjalani kehidupan, baik berupa sandang, pangan maupun papan, terlebih di dalam keluarga, maka anggota keluarga tentunya ada yang menjadi pemenuh kebutuhan ekonomi keluarga, supaya keluarga bisa memenuhi kebutuhan baik yang bersifat primer, sekunder maupun tersiernya.

Diskusi tentang pemenuhan kebutuhan ekonomi keluarga telah banyak disinggung oleh para tokoh, baik tokoh jaman klasik, pertengahan maupun kontemporer, terutama ayat al-Qurán surat al-Nisa’ayat 34 sebagai sebuah ayat yang membicarakan tentang kepemimpinan secara umum sampai pada pemenuh kebutuhan ekonomi keluarga telah banyak dilakukan tafsir ulang, lagi-lagi hal ini dilakukan karena perbedaan konteks yang berlaku. Pernyataan seorang laki-laki yang harus menjadi pemimpin serta pemenuh kebutuhan ekonomi keluarga dan juga pernyataan yang mengharuskan seorang perempuan mengurus masalah domestik dinilai sangat sesuai dengan pernyataan ayat secara normatif, tetapi sebagian tokoh yang lain terutama tokoh kontemporer sangat tidak setuju dengan pernyataan tersebut di atas, salah satunya tokoh yang mengumandangkan tentang kesetaraan gender adalah Asghar Ali Engineer. Salah seorang Feminisme berkebangsaan India tersebut mencoba melakukan tafsir terhadap QS. Al-Nisa’ (4): 34 mengenai pemenuh ekonomi keluarga yang tidak hanya diharuskan seorang laki-laki saja. Maka penelitian tentang “Peranan Perempuan Dalam Memenuhi Kebutuhan Ekonomi Keluarga: Telaah QS. Al-Nisa’ (4): 34 Perspektif Asghar Ali Engineer” ini berusaha memaparkan secara detail tentang bagaimana Asghar Ali Engineer melakukan tafsiran terhadap ayat tersebut.

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian normatif yang bersifat deskriptif- analitis, langkah awal yang dilakukan adalah mengumpulkan data dan bahan data yang memfokuskan pada tema, kemudian memilah-milah data serta menganalisis dari yang umum ke khusus, setelah itu dilakukan analisis sebelum diambil kesimpulan dari seluruh isi pembahasan.

Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa Asghar Ali Engineer sangat fleksibel dalam memberikan tafsir ayat al-Qurán, menurut beliau karena ayat tersebut hanya bersifat normatif bukan kontekstual, maka beliau menganjurkan kepada kaum perempuan untuk bisa aktif mengikuti model pembangunan sosial kontemporer ini, karena kaum perempuan juga perlu mengeksplorasi dirinya di dalam kehidupan terutama pada pada sektor perekonomian, terlebih lagi bahwa perempuan adalah makhluk ciptaan Tuhan yang sama-sama punya harkat dan martabat di sisi Tuhanya.

ENGLISH:

In daily life, every people need the materials that it can still survived for his life, such as the clothes, food and etc. especially in the family, it should be role for a living to the family economic completely, such as primary, secondary or tertiary.

This study about the human’s role in this public, discussion about of family economic has been mentioned by the figure, like the figure of the classic era, middle age and contemporary era. With this differences between time and place, so in holy Qurán Al-nisa’(4): 34 as a verse that said about the global of the leader of family until the discussion of who should be seek a living has been talked and interpretations, this was done because of the prevailing context. Statement of a man who should be the leader and the head f the household until who should be seek a living demanding women to take of domestic problem, it considered with paragraph normatively, but most of figure, especially contemporary figures are not agree, one of the figure that often talking about gender quality is Asghar Ali Engineer. One of the Indian national Feminism tries to do a reinterpretation of the QS. Al-Nisa’(4): 34 about role of men whose responsible in the seek of his life, because according to him, anyone has the right to action in the social area in seeking a living and complete a living of economic for a family: study of QS al-Nisa’(4): 34 perspectives of Asghar Ali Engineer” is trying to explain in detail on how Asghar Ali Engineer is talking about feminism gender quality to interpretation paragraph QS. Al-Nisa’(4): 34.

This research is a descriptive normative-analytical, the first step is to collect data and materials that focus on the theme of data, and than sifting through the data and then analyze from general to the particular, after it done before it is concluded from the analysis of the entire contents of discussion on this research.

The result of this study is that Asghar Ali Engineer so flexibly to doing interpretation on this verse it talking about role to seeking a living, he said that this a normatively verse, but now is the contemporary era, so, there are not limiting about who to take role be responsibly to give a living in their family, man’s or women’s. there for he gives space to women’s to act equally active development in the area of micro and family most regions of the nation in term of economic development because women are equally creatures of Allah. Which has the dignity sides of God.
