This study aims to determine the correlation between self-efficacy variables with the employee coping strategy. It is expected to know the degree of correlation between self-efficacy variables to variable coping strategy. The research was conducted at PT. Industri Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Persero) with the study sample is selected using a quota sampling technique. The number of samples in this study 35 people. Analytical techniques used is technique of Rank Spearman correlation. conducted to prove the correlation between the independent variables, namely self-efficacy with the dependent variable is coping strategy. The instrument used to measure levels of employee self-efficacy based on Bandura's theory, with dimensions that were examined include the level, strength, and generality. Reliability of the instrument of self-efficacy: 0.962. while to measure employees coping strategy using the WCQ revised from Lazarus & Folkman that have been modified, with the degree of reliability of 0.915. The results showed a correlation coefficient between self-efficacy with problem focused coping is 0.06. While the correlation coefficient between self-efficacy with emotion focused coping at -0.029. These results indicate that self-efficacy did not have a significant relationship with coping strategy.
