Uji Efikasi Jamur Entomopatogen Beauveria bassiana Balsamo Dan Metarrhizium anisopliae (Metch.) Sorokin Terhadap Mortalitas Larva Phragmatoecia castanae Hubner Di Laboratorium

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Riset dan Pengembangan Tanaman Tebu PTPN II Sei Semayang dengan ketinggian tempat + 50 m dpl. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari hingga Maret 2008. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas jamur entomopatogen B. bassiana dan M. anisopliae pada kerapatan spora yang berbeda untuk menginfeksi larva penggerek batang tebu raksasa P. castaneae Hubner. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap non faktorial yang terdiri dari 7 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan yaitu B0 (Kontrol Tanpa Perlakuan), B1 (Beauveria bassiana dengan kerapatan konidia 105), B2 (Beauveria bassiana dengan kerapatan konidia 106), B3 (Beauveria bassiana dengan kerapatan konidia 107), M1 (Metarrhizium anisopliae dengan kerapatan konidia 105), M2 (Metarrhizium anisopliae dengan kerapatan konidia 106), M3 (Metarrhizium anisopliae dengan kerapatan konidia 107). Parameter yang diamati adalah Persentase mortalitas larva (%), Persentase larva yang menjadi pupa (%) dan Persentase pupa yang menjadi imago (%). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan entomopatogen pada larva berbeda nyata. Pada perlakuan Beauveria bassiana permortalitas tertinggi terdapat pada perlakuan B3 (100%), B2 (97.5%), B1 (92.5%), dan terendah pada perlakuan B0 (0%). Persentase larva menjadi pupa tertinggi terdapat pada perlakuan B0 (59.38%), B1 (8.75%), B2 (6.25%), dan terendah pada perlakuan B3 (0%). Persentase pupa menjadi imago tertinggi terdapat pada perlakuan B0 (70%), B1 (8.1%), B2 (5.6%) dan terendah pada perlakuan B3 (0%). Pada perlakuan Metarrhizium anisopliae mortalitas tertinggi terdapat pada perlakuan M3 (80%), M2 (70%), dan terendah pada perlakuan M1 (55%). Persentase larva menjadi pupa tertinggi terdapat pada perlakuan M1(32.5%), M2 (27.5%), dan terendah pada perlakuan M3 (16.25%). Persentase pupa menjadi imago tertinggi terdapat pada perlakuan M1 (25%), M2 (21.9%), dan terendah pada perlakuan M3 (13.8%).
This research was conducted in Research and Development Laboratory of Sugarcane Plantations of PTPN II Sei Semayang at altitude + 50 m over sea level. The research was conducted from January - March 2008. The objective of research was to know the effectiveness of fungi entomophatogen B. bassiana and M. anisopliae on different spora density to infect the rodent larva of giant sugarcane stem P. castanae Hubner. This research used Non factorial Complete Random Sampling consisting of seven treatments and four replications: B0 (control without treatment), B1 (Beauveria bassiana with conydia density 105), B2 (Beauveria bassiana with conydia density 106), B3 (Beauveria bassiana with conydia density 107), M1 (Metarrhizium anisopliae with conydia density 105), M2 (Metarrhizium anisopliae with conydia density 106), M3 (Metarrhizium anisopliae with conydia density 107). The parameters observed were percentage of larva mortality (%), percentage of larva to become pupa (%) and percentage of pupa to become imago (%). The result of research indicated that entomophatogen treatment on larva was different significantly. By using Beauveria bassiana, the highest mortality for larva was found in treatment B3 100 percent, B2 97.5 percent, B1 92.5 percent, and the lowest one was in treatment B0 is 0 percent. The highest percentage larva to become pupa was found in treatment B0 59.38 percent, B1 8.75 percent, B2 6.25 percent, and the lowest one was in treatment B3 is 0 percent. The highest percentage of pupa to imago was found in treatment B0 70 percent, B1 8.1 percent, B2 5.6 percent, and the lowest one was in treatment B3 is 0 percent. By using Metarrhizium anisopliae, the highest mortality for larva was found in treatment M1 80 percent, M2 70 percent and the lowest one was in treatment M3 55 percent. The highest percentage larva to become pupa was found in treatment M1 32.5 percent, M2 27.5 percent, and the lowest one was in treatment M3 16.25 percent. The highest percentage of pupa to imago was found in treatment M1 25 percent, M2 21.9 percent, and the lowest one was in treatment M3 13.8 percent.
